Founder - Melanie Guillen

Melanie Guillen began her real estate career in 2007 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to entering real estate, she spent five years as a professional grant writer and fundraiser for leading Los Angeles non-profit organizations — experience that sharpened her financial oversight, negotiation strategy, and ability to advocate on behalf of clients.
A native Angeleno, Melanie built her foundation by flipping single-family and small multifamily properties throughout Los Angeles. This hands-on investment experience gave her firsthand knowledge of renovation strategy, asset repositioning, budgeting, and maximizing long-term property value. Over the next 18+ years, she built a strong residential sales career representing buyers, sellers, and investors — consistently working on both sides of the negotiation table.
In 2018, she launched her own property management and Airbnb portfolio. As an active landlord and operator, Melanie understands ownership from the inside out — cash flow management, tenant relations, maintenance oversight, vacancy strategy, and performance optimization. She doesn’t just manage property — she owns it.
In 2022, she joined Lee & Associates Los Angeles, where she built a strong foundation in commercial tenant representation, specializing in industrial and creative flex spaces. Working alongside top-producing brokers, she gained deep experience negotiating commercial leases, analyzing space requirements, and advising business owners on strategic site selection. She now continues her commercial brokerage career at KW Commercial Pasadena, with an emphasis on retail, industrial, creative flex, and multifamily properties. Her commercial background gives her a broader understanding of lease structures, asset positioning, and long-term portfolio strategy — insight she brings directly to her property management clients.With over 18 years of real estate experience and a decade of hands-on property management, Melanie offers a rare combination of owner perspective, operational expertise, and cross-sector market intelligence.
